The science of cellular aging has advanced more in the last decade than in the previous century. We now understand, with molecular precision, some of the mechanisms that drive the fatigue, cognitive shift, and metabolic change people notice in their 40s and 50s. One of the most well-documented: the decline of NAD+ — the coenzyme that powers cellular energy, DNA repair, and the longevity-associated sirtuin proteins that protect our genome.

LIVENTI exists to address that. NAD+ & Energy
NAD+ is the central coenzyme in cellular respiration. Mitochondria use it to convert nutrients into ATP — the energy currency every cell runs on. When NAD+ falls, this process becomes inefficient. Age-associated fatigue is partly mitochondrial fatigue, and mitochondrial fatigue is partly a NAD+ problem.
NAD+ & DNA Repair
PARP enzymes — the molecular machinery that repairs DNA strand breaks — are critically dependent on NAD+ as a substrate. As NAD+ falls, DNA repair capacity falls. This connects NAD+ decline to the genomic instability that underlies many age-associated conditions.
NAD+ & Sirtuins
Sirtuins (SIRT1–SIRT7) are longevity-associated proteins that regulate cellular stress responses and metabolism. They require NAD+ to function. When NAD+ is restored via NMN, sirtuin activity is restored with it. This is why Resveratrol — a sirtuin activator — is included alongside NMN in LIVENTI.
The NMN Pathway
NMN is the immediate precursor to NAD+. It enters cells and converts via the salvage pathway — more efficiently than taking NAD+ directly, which cannot cross cell membranes in significant amounts. Published human trials confirm oral NMN measurably raises blood NAD+ metabolite levels.
